Stainless headers or ported standard?
Weighing up the options as to fitting stainless headers or port the standard ones?
Mods waiting to be fitted to a JDM bugeye with AVCS heads....
TD05 20g
650cc injectors
STi7 top mount
Japspeed 3'' downpipe
Blitz Nur Spec system
Inner wing kit
Hoping for around 370bhp. I have a set of stainless headers sitting but is it worth fitting them, or
porting the standard headers to gain 400rpm or
just leaving it on the standard headers and stainless uppipe currently fitted?

Fit them, as you will be removing then refitting the OE headers after porting. So will be needing the gaskets any way. Plus you will save the cost of porting which might cover the cost of wrapping the headers. Or as you stay keep with them as fitted, if you are happy with the car then leave it alone.
At less than 400 bhp you are best staying with the standard headers, but ported. A trick up-pipe, is a good idea too. Alyn at AS Performance looks like he has taken over Harvey's, design.
Putting tubular ones on will LOSE the turbo's ability to scroll at lower revs.
