Hi everyone

Just bought my first impreza, an import classic wagon, very standard and untouched. But, there is a problem with the turbo actuator and I had planned to upgrade anyway, just not this soon.
My question to you all is, does the td05 unit bolt on as a direct replacement for the td04?

bit more to it then just bolting on a td05. ull need to sort the ecu to cope with the bigger turbo, remap or change ur current ecu. what year is it?

 

It's a 96 N plate, I have a full system and decat to go on, and was planning to change the turbo to a td05, remap and a fmic. But this issue with the turbo has made me need to change the turbo sooner then expected. Will the car run ok with the turbo done and have remap later?
