Hi guys n girls. New on here. For xmas bought my mrs a classic scooby. Now it werent mint body wise and had a scrape on 2 doors which meant doors needed replacing but it came with them thank god(as i bought the car off a friend). changed the doors which was interesting as rear door wiring needed changing too but was fine but then comes the front. Plugs looked the same but after connecting looks like there were more pins in the old door and as soon as powered up the window went straight up all on its own(how novel lol).

then i noticed that the wing mirror mounting plate wasnt on the new door. now this is where im slightly confused. I removed one from old door then set about fitting to new door but it doesnt seem to fit correct. The door glass looks like its too high if i fit the mirror mounting plate correct.

Any ideas
