Default Classic Washer Jet

Hi,

Got my MOT in couple of weeks and worried it may fail as my drivers washer jet seems to be very weak and barely reaches above the wipers. Passenger jet is fine and has plenty of power so do the headlight washers.

I have removed the drivers washer jet and hose and cleaned/soaked it over night but it doesnt seem any better. Is the Ball bearing restrictor supposed to move about in the hose?

Any ideas? Could pump be getting weak?

Default Washer jet

Remove the restrictor altogether its only there to stop the water flowing back to fluid container and give the jets a direct feed.If that fails pop the jets out and give them a good blow out with high pressure airline down at your local garage.Worked for me on my Bugeye.

As above. Also check the pipe feeding it is not blocked, kinked or squashed.

Thanks, Jets are all clear. I suspect there isnt enough pressure getting past the restrictor.
I will remove them and strip out Washer bottle/Check hoses.
Does anyone know the Internal size of the washer hoses? Might order a few metres of silicone hose to replace it anyway
