Default Cleaning Do Luck Panel Filter

My Do Luck Panel Filter needs a clean, it's foam and oilded.

Do I just wash with soap and water.

Also I guess it would need lightly re-oiling, would Pipercross cleaner be Ok seeing as Pipercross are foam filters too?

Thanks

I have a k&n panel on mine which i believe is a wire mesh type but i think the procedure is the same. I use a k&n recharge kit which has a bottle of detergent for cleaning with warm water and a bottle of oil which i aply when dry. Let all excess oil come out of the filter before refitting as it can sometimes cause problems for MAF sensors on some makes/models when overloaded with oil.
