Default whats the exhaust part called..????

mornin folks

i ve got a uk 300 bug eye(2001)

my exhaust is blowing from the pipe that goes from the right hand side of the engine to the turbo side...its got a huge split in it so im after another one..

but until i know the name of it im stuck ...heeeelllllllppppppp

Is it the one that leaves the bottom of the engine on the passenger side, and meets the pipe coming from the drivers side, going into the up-pipe. Long piece with a heat shield?

yeah thats the one mate...it runs along the front bottom of the engine then bolts onto the up pipe

Right if you look at www.opposedforces.com you'll get a name and part number for it. You just need to navigate through your model.

i take it the driver side exhaust manifold is seperate from the front exhaust?

i couldnt tell when i had my car on ramps as i couldnt get the whole of the undertray off ..

Yeah, it comes apart in a number of pieces, where is the split, near the join to the engine? The first join is about 15 inches from the engine (passenger side)

from what i can see. its split from the driver side by where it meets the uppipe..

you can see like white matting that wraps around the exhaust ( it s not heat wrapped)

so i take it its in 3 sections across the front exhaust?
driver side manifold...middle pipe then passenger side manifold?
