Default Valve clearances for Full lateral performance v5/6 valve train

I've got my hands on a set of v5/6 sti heads and also bought lateral performance lp05 cam shafts, adjustable pulleys, double valve springs, guides and supertech valves from a member on here and was wondering a few things , firstly are the valve clearances the same at inlet 0.006-0.008 and exhaust at 0.008-0.010? And also would people set them only with heads fitted to block? And where can I get new shims when I know what size I need?

Lateral lp05 cams are Inlet 0.009"-0.010", Exhaust 0.012"-0.013", i presume you have Supertech bottom platforms & top retainers.

You can mock up for clearences off the block, but they will alter slightly, when torqued up, especially if 14mm studs are being used.
Shims can be obtained from any dealer, or specialist, you can remove a small amount from the valve tips also, to make it easier.
