my speedo has stopped working on a 95 classic, ive checked it back to the gearbox and need to get the cable out of there, can anyone tellme how to remove it, thanks very much,

jack the drivers side up. and get underneath , use a 17 or 19mm spanner, std thread but unclip the top part of the cable 1st get at that from the top behind the turbo, remove the spring clip and then its easy, they are about 26quid from import car parts on ebay

 

thanks very much, ive found what was the nut, it broke off and was in the orange cap, thats why i couldnt make out how to get it off, major probs with it now as i cant grip the threads that is left :-( ill get one ordered as it was snapped and carry on hacking at what is left to get it out, thanks again MADSCOOB,
