Default Inlet Manifold Vacuum nipple?

Hi
Idle when warm with a Vacuum nipple not connected around 1000/900rpm then when connected 500/400rpm.Any ideas of what may cause this as undriveable when connected,fine otherwise,this hasnt been an issue previously

Connected to what?
Car?
Model?
Year?

Yep is runs leaner with air being drawn directly into the inlet manifold which is why the idle changes

If you are connecting something to that nipple and it runs lean, you need to check whatever it is you've connected for an air leak.

What you are describing sounds like it's running lean, which is disastrous for the Scoob engine
