Whiteline sway bar size
Hi all I'm looking at upgrading my sway bars as the car has developed a clunk/ knocking at front and rear and handling doesn't seem to be the same.
My question is which size bars to go for 22m or 24mm ? How much difference does this make ?
And how much better would the adjustable ones be ?
The car in question is a 2002 sti prodrive
Thanks in advance Jon

The clunking would be worn droplinks mate but I would say go for a 22mm rear Arb and uprate the front and rear droplinks. The front rollbar is ok just buy some uprated bushes for it ie whiteline.

Agreed that the front ARB isn't worth doing.
Rear would go for a 24mm item. If Whiteline, get it powdercoated or they rust to buggery, new or not.
If you go for droplinks avoid the spherical type ones unless you can put up with the extra noise they will bring!
ALK prevents diving under hard braking (yes despite the name!) and keeps the car a little more stable - I think it's great, car squirms around much less.
It will also sit up less under acceleration.

Yep me to. Alk on my new age made a big difference. I use a 24mm rear arb on the hardest setting. Makes for much less understeer in the dry, but can be a little tail happy in the wet. For me on the middle or soft setting still had to much understeer on track. Standard front arb at the moment
