RCM Oil pump 11 or 12mm?
Going to upgrade my oil pump to an RCM one.
My engine is 2.1 forged stroker and I'm aiming for 450bhp. When the engine was built a new OEM pump was fitted (3 years ago) but as the engine is coming out to have various bits attached to it (turbo, headers, baffled sump, injectors and a new cambelt) before having it mapped.
The internals on the engine are from Lateral and their fast road rods are rated to 500bhp so I will not be going over this in the future (not on this engine at least ).
Is the 11mm RCM Oil pump up to the job, or would I need to go for the 12mm?
Tim.

Thanks for your replies. I want to change for a new one as it is an ideal time to do it when the engine is out and I'm going to have the cambelt changed at the same time. I'm going to be tracking the car and using it hard so would like piece of mind that the oil is being pumped round reliably.
11mm one for me then.
Many thanks,
Tim.
