has anyone fitted an extra silencer box on a nur spec system? Did it affect its performance, I just want a quieter nur spec with no bung and no bhp loss

 

I recommend a different system mate, if you want quitier.

I ask this, I went from a prodrive ( quiet as a mouse) to the nur spec r! Bloody loud, good burble and deep tone but it's too much, I looked at these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-...f19b332&_uhb=1 they make either a 2.5 or a 3" version, but no one would say if it would make much or too much differance

 

Brain anything at all will be quieter than a nur spec matey... A nice tsl group n would probably suit as its got a nice note on boost and much more suitable whenever u wanna go a run.

 

Sounds like a plan just like the idea of a quiet nur spec which would be something different, but its down to bhp loss at the end of the day

 

Scoobyworld do a few race boxes which are good for power and not as loud as the Nur Spec.

 

I've got a kakimoto gt1, loud as hell.you should try HKS hipower.Problem with loud exhausts is they sometimes lose the burble.
