what's goin to sound better a unequal or equal headers want . to be Load

I for 2 years have had standard unequal ones on my newage sti, last weekend i had a set of hayward and scott EL headers fitted and amongst the extra torque the noise is fantastic, it sounds like a jet on boost and still has a slight rumble on idle and low revs.

Apparently if you fit equal length headers you gain some performance advantage. You also lose the scooby "rumble" though.

but that's the 1 thing I don't want to do is loose the famous Scooby noise but I have been told that they do give extra torque with the equal headers

if you dont want to lose the burble then dont go equal length, its simple really.
