best place to get a new key and programmed?

Default best place to get a new key and programmed?

Hello all.my key is on its last legs now.The central locking has now buttons has now stopped working and the blade is bout to snap at the bottom. Anyone no of the best place to get one from and have it programmed. Im in the southampton area. Thanks

dealer for key, presumably.

You can do the reprogramming yourself provided you either have one working fob, or know the 4 pin code to the alarm - search for sigma alarm on here.

You can get blank keys off ebay, and if you do the programming yourself for the central locking (if its fixable), then you can take the transponder chip out, put it in the new key and you won't need subaru for anything.

OR, if the remote internals are buggered, you can buy a used key, take the remote part out and re-program it yourself: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1X-SUBARU-...item337d5bd55e combined with the above, you will have a working key with no need to pay over the odds to a dealer
