Default does it NEED mapping

my car has been fitted with the following

heyward and scott headers
Prodrive exhaust and sport cat
Walbro fuel pump

dpes it NEED mapping or os it ok ? I know mapping will bring the best out of the mods, but does it NEED it ?

Yes it does mate.
The fuel pump is fine, but any alteration to the intake or exhaust flow really requires a remap to be safe

As above highly likley it will, only way to be 100% sure either way is put it on a dyno to check how its running.

if its a newage you dont NEED a remap but it would be better

When a decent dyno run is done sensors get attached to the car (not just strap it down and run it), they tell the operator all sorts of things including AFR (air fuel ratio), boost levels, boost profile etc etc.

When you change parts without mapping the ecu can't always compensate for high airflows and the afr leans out.

Worst case is the AFR could be way off and engine goes pop.

The run may well show its ok or it may show theres now an issue. Better to check and find all ok than not check and find you need a new engine
