BOV
hi, quick quiestion....
....my current BOV seems to of 'do its stuff' when at the top range of my turbo, is this normal? other subaru owners seem to hardly hit the turbo when 'dumping'
Forgive the lingo im a learner when it comes to cars.
What to get it sorted but dont know where to start
Thanks

I'm also interested in this, mine has a bit of flutter at low revs and dumps at high revs, I think it may just require a tweak of the screw, mine is a Blitz BOV. Used to have a Forge one on my classic which seemed to dump with little or lots of boost.

Usually means the spring is too hard if "fluttering" (compressor surge) at low revs. I find the hks and blitz BOV useless due to that bent fluttering sound at low rev and the squeaking at high revs, I just want get around with everyone staring every time I close the throttle. A standard or a forge recirculating one would be my chioceand the car will run better
