3 plug ecu needed help please
Hi all, Firstly i must say it looks like i got seen off with this one?
i have recently purchased a uk subaru turbo 1998 which was taken in part x by my local garage who knows nothing about these cars,MUCH LIKE MYSELF LOL.The car may have had a sti engine put in at some time??
the turbo is a td05.fmic fitted...yellow injectors...uprated fuel pump and full decat system upto the turbo.front headers are also stainless equal length jobbys.I was advised on here that the ecu needs to have a sister board (whatever that means?) or a better ecu as the one fitted is the standard uk a18000d37 8s.when i lifted the carpet it was clear to see that this ecu was thrown in and not bolted so must have been replaced prior to being pxd.
Does anyone here have a 3 plug ecu with better mapping and higher psi to suit this set up?or a sister board thingy?or any other help as i do not want to drive it until this is sorted out.thankyou all

Some aftermarket ECUs are placed in the standard OEM ecu case, so don't assume the ECU is standard just from the case.
To confirm the ECU is the original, it should have a blue label on the big yellow connector with text "000 D37" on it. If it has, it is probably the standard ECU - although it could have a daughterboard. If it doesn't have the label, it could be a different ECU altogether.
