Default Knock Correction Value

Morning,

I have had a look through the forum but couldnt find what i was looking for, so i thought i would ask.

What is an acceptable knock correction value?

I have a 2004 WRX PPP with an ECUTEK unit where the clock goes. Anyway when i accelerate hard my knock correction value goes up to +7.0 before going back to 0. Its usually 0 when driving normally.

Is this value within the acceptable range, or is this too high.

Thanks in advance

Matt

Perfectly acceptable, that means the ecu is happy to run a fair bit more advance than is in the main ignition map. You have a problem if you are seeing large amounts of - figures and the IAM running less than 16.
