Default TGV sensor....help with alternative TPS code....

Afternoon,

I have a P1086 CEL, so i need to replace my TGV sensor on the passenger side looking into the engine (so by the batt)
As there is a shortage of TGV and the excess cost, i have read that i can use a Throttle position sensor instead......my problem is, there are two codes...which do i need?

483-05
or
483-06

Its for a 2002 bugeye WRX

Any help will be rewarded with a smiley face!

Hi there

Personally would put money on the TGV delete like on the TGV replacement. But if you will go with TGV delete you will need remap or simply delete this CEL

If you are in Romford speak to the Neil@Slowboy racing,he is based near Brands hatch and he can made for you TGV delete and can map/delete this CEL

Thanks for the reply Jura, What sort of money will i be looking at though? as the replacement part is only 26quid. not sure i fancy going down the few hundred quid road just yet....might speak with Neil though, as the person that i brought the car from had it serviced at Slowboy.
cheers
