Question Race Tech Dash 2 in V1/V2 - Can it be done?

Right guys, I did a search on here and Google and haven't really found much out, I'm wanting to fit a race tech dash 2 > http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorc...road-dashboard

looking at the wiring diagram its a simple splice into the loom job to fit can anyone confirm this? Also my car is 95 which means it has the mechanical speed pickup for the current clock, how hard is it to convert to an electric pick up? is it just a case of taking out the mech one and fitting an elec then just wiring it in to the dash 2?

Hi there

We are running Dash2,some inputs you can wired to the loom, but still better will be if you are will be using the CANbus, which will be easier for you

But you will need ECU which support CANbus and you will need CANbus cable which is available for all sort the ECU(SimTek/AlcaTek is not supported),if you are running Syvecs is easy to set

About the price, speak to the Andy andrew@rallytechnology.co.uk,07801 385298,he give us better price for whole lot like is from Demon Tweeks

Hope this help

Thanks for the reply Jura, I'm afraid I have a simtek so won't be able to go down the CANbus route, I imagine I will just have to wire up to analogue sensors
