ALARM

Hi I have a 1996 subaru impreza sport waggon and i was wondering when made should it have been fitted with a alarm

AFAIK possibly only immobiliser but could be wrong.

Is it uk or Jap?

None are made with an alarm. Uk cars have alarms fitted when they arrive here.

its uk does this mean it should have one if so could i get a fob and program it to the car

Also does anyone know how to fit roof rails and if its a big job?

Prior to 98 no alarm at all was fitted (only the OEM Imobiliser). You had to buy your own.

My MY97 when purchased new, I had a Cobra 832 + bits fitted.

As far as roof rails, if you look at these pages you will see what items you will need.

Needless to say it requires the headlining to be removed.
