Default turbo dynamix md555 500 turbo

Hi, I have a classic sti running 460 hp with a brand new turbo dynamix md555 500 turbo, at the moment it's running a bailey dump valve, now I hate these bloody dump valves and was wondering if there is an alternative to this bailey or of it would be safe running without one at all? It's making 1.6 bar at the min.
