What paint for the engine block?

Default What paint for the engine block?

As above fellas, want to paint the block halves but everthing I'm looking at says not recomended for alloy. Left scratching my head tbh. Any recomendations.

Polish it, then laquer it.

I used paint for calipers,
but at the end when I assembled the engine you have to look very closely to even see the block as it sits down under manifold, alternator etc

Spent more than enough time with that idea mate, removed all the flash and cast splatter spent a full day rotary wire brushing it up yesterday but it just doesn't look good enough so going the paint route.

The etech stuff with the hardener or the halfords stuf mate?
