Question Can a MY 97/98 Classic Turbo with PPP-ECU handle a VF24?

Hi!

Two years ago i already asked if my MY97/98 Classic Turbo with PPP-ECU could handle a VF28. There wasn't too much response and i decided to stick with the TD04.

Nowadays i'm still obsessed by the idea replacing the turbo.

I can't get rid of the gut feeling my MY97/98 with PPP-ECU could handle a VF24. Maybe with 440 injectors?

Already have a Walbro fuel pump, a Ninja sportscat and a 200 cell mid section, Samco inlet pipe, APS TMIC mounted (nothing ever caused any problems for the PPP-ECU).

As mapping is not an option for a MY97/98 and i want to avoid the Simtek-way do you think the PPP-ECU could handle a VF24 along with the mentioned supporting mods?

No it won't be fueling correctly and you will risk causing engine damage.

Id wait a few month until Enduing Solutions (ESL) release the new daughter board for your car. Then you can map away and sky is the limit.

Mapping has been an option for the 97/8 ECU since the start of this year. Email service@enduringsolutions.com
