Not as simple as that. You need to know what CR you are going to run then you need cerefully calculate what thickness gasket to run. If your CR is too high you could suffer det & engine failure.

Provided the Version 3~4 heads havent been skimmed and you are running the standard Version 1~2 dogbone pistons, then standard thickness gaskets will keep the static C.R the same.

You need to know the volume of the top of your piston then calculate the volume of your cylinder allowing for piston volume. Do the calc with different gasket thicknesses until you find the gasket which will give the correct CR. It's hard to explain but not that hard, search the net & U Tube.

If you have the std V1 pistons they sit proud of the block at the top of the stroke, the std gaskets are 1.6mm and thats what you need if you still have the std pistons. I think the CR is 8.4:1 on a Phase 1 engine? Hope that helps.
