I was doing some research and came accross some info that all the special edition spec c's and ra's of the modern shape (GD) dont have underseal protection. I was wondering how serious this is from a long term ownership point of view? surely if you lived on the coast as many of the cities in New Zealand are this could cause really bad rust issues right?> or am I missing something?

 

Subarus don't seem to corrode as much as other makes. Having said that, I give mine a quick waxoil treatment before each winter to protect it from salty UK roads.
