Just after a bit of advice on wether or not I should change my 2004 WRX intercooler to an STi one or not?? My car has an uprated tubo back exhaust and has just been mapped by Duncan at Racedynamix and im well pleased with the results!! Cheer Mate!!

In the future im looking to uprate the turbo and injectors but was wondering if its worth uprating the intercooler now or should I leave it untill I get the other mods done??

Any info/advice would be much appreciated!!

 

It's a shame you didn't add the intercooler before the remap.

I'd say enjoy your newly found ponies for a while, then when used to it add the injectors and larger turbo and sti intercooler as the next stage up

 

As above, although if you see one going cheap grab one. No harm done if you decide to fit it either, it's what I did with mine.

 

Yes ive seen one going for a good price in good nick which I was gona buy anyway hence the thread. Just dont want to mess up the map on my car which ive just had done which was why Im asking the question really!!

buy it now then fit when you get the rest of your mods fitted.Then one remap.It will work better if you get the scoop and undertray to match.
