Hi folks,

Now bear in mind i know little about cars....(want to learn though)

Ive a 95 (M) wrx imported in 2006. first off i seam to be boosting at high rev's by this i mean im almost at the legal speed limit before my turbo kicks in. When it does some times the boost just cuts off as if ive released the accelerator.

Any ideas?

id be checking the boost solenoid piping is connected properly and that the wastgate is moving properly. sounds like the boost control is bad rather than a bad turbo. bad turbo would smoke or make noise.

Any findings mate? Mines doing very similar things an not under full boost till 5000rpm :-s
