Hiya, I'm trying to sort out my v3 Sti wagon that the AA thinks the ECU has gone belly up on, spotted this connector just hanging around and was wondering where its meant to be attached!

god knows it does look like a knock sensor connector but it wouldnt be that side.

 

ABS sensor plug ?

 

Looks like the female end of an ABS sensor cable.

Here's the male end to compare. Bit naughty if it's not connected.

 

Exhaust temp sensor connector?

 

Thanks for the replies and help put it up on SES too and pretty sure now its the EGT as the car has had a decat downpipe fitted

 

if its the egt it will run to a small lambda type looking thing, iirc
also if it goes straight into the loom it is not egt plug
