Default Phormula KS3 gone belly up?

My KS3 has gone funny, when powering up it just hangs on the startup, displaying Knock analyser but then doesn't change...

I've turned it on and off a million times and checked the connections but it's not helped

Anyone had any experience of this before?

Mine played up when water got into the knock sensor connector, but was fine when I dried it out & sealed it up.

Does the unit work without the sensor connected though? I'm sure it should but mine doesn't

Do you know anyone who you could swap units with, just to test if it's a wiring issue or your KS3. Sounds like a faulty unit but you never know.

If you're near Notts you can try mine. Have you tried unplugging the power cable for an hour to reset it?

No where near Notts fella but thanks for the kind offer

Not tried disconnecting it no as it only gets power when the ignition is on so I'm guessing that would make no difference?

I'll leave it unplugged whilst at work tomorrow but as I say it doesn't get power when the ignition is off anyway

Steve - you have Email

What settings do you use? I have gain at 10 and alarm at 45 (which is not normally det) I often get higher readings at part throttle than WOT
