Exclamation help please :(

Drove from the uk to vendee in france all ok no temp probs at all got here popped the bonnet and the top rad hose is squashed flat opened the cap and wooosh pipe opened back up i belive i may need some rad cap dont know where from round here or is there a temp fix that will get me bk to the uk and repair then?

anyone getting worried cant find a rad cap here

Is your breather pipe blocked ? The one to the expansion bottle ? The top hose being squashed flat would indicate the cap is working, but couldnt suck any fluid back from else where so sucked in the top hose. Only other option i can see is to screw the cap on half way round to where it goes loose again , just to hold it there and keep stopping regular to check water level.

its sunk into the bottle and is not blocked can blow through it easy

If it touched the bottom of the bottle the cap wouldnt have been able to draw air back in thats why it sucked the top hose flat. Fill the water back up and make sure the pipe is a good inch or more from the bottom of the bottle.
