Default Reverse inlet help

Right I've managed to get a reverse inlet manifold a cut and weld one as mines a v1 there are 2 pipes on the bottom of the throttle body they don seem to have anything to do with the actual tb. Can I discard these on the fb and just link the 2 water pipes together via sumthing like a T-piece pic below

2nd.... The throttle is hitting inlet can I cut this piece down a little to allow for full throttle
