Blob vs Hawk Sti Turbo
As the the title hints at, are the turbo's different between the Blobeye STi and Hawkeye STi? If they are different, is one better than the other?
Thanks, Rich.

Yes they are, as are the engines.
Standard Hawkeye STI 2.5 lumps are well known to suffer from the dreaded "ringland failure" when pushed to around 370+bhp, whereas the 2.0 engines are typically a bit stronger, and good for 400-450 (if you're lucky).
Blob STI's run a VF35 turbo (or VF37 if it's a JDM twin scroll).
Hawkeye STI's run a VF43 turbo.
Power wise I think the characteristics are similar, but the Hawkeye will make more bhp and torque due to it's 2.5 lump.
