Default please help

Hi guys I'm very new to this I've only had this Scooby for 6 months I have put a lightened flywheel , stainless up pipe and decat road tested all fine no probs I have now put a polar performance chip ecu in it seems fine except when you really gun it she holds back a bit if I give it 3/4 throttle its perfect. I still have the original fuel pump but do have a 255 lph on order does anyone know if this will help or am I barking up the wrong tree thanks

How much fuel did you have in the tank when this happened? Impreza's are known for fuel starvation problems - do a search on here.
Also uprated pump is one of the first mod you should have done really.
If the 'chip' is not genuine item, it could be doing more harm than good.

Plenty of fuel and it is a genuine Scott polar chip it just feels like fuel starvation

It's not unknown to suffer from fuel starvation on even half a tank.
My newage wagon suffers from the very badly, anything less than half a tank whilst giving it the beans will result in head butting the windscreen. lol.

You might already have an uprated fuel pump in it. Some come with smaller filters than than the standard one so are even more prone to starvation.

Did the problem get worse after you fitted the chip?

As far as I'm aware the problem only started when I fitted the chip

As Super Ted said.... If you want to put it back to standard to check it then just re-solder the resistor. You can leave the chip where it is!
