Guys. Have any of you used the K&N cleaning kit? I was lead to believe that the cone filters should be oil free but it says on the cleaning kit that you should use the oil on the fins untill they become there origional red colour? What do you think?

The oil is what traps the dirt so you must use it on the K & N.

Lightly apply it as if you over coat it then you will contaminate the MAF with oil.

 

Thats what i was worried about.
