Default Quick one about backfire

So i my 95 wagon wrx now runs z4 ecu, td05 turbo, replacment panel filter and full decat. Everything seems fine, car goes a lot better than it did before, havnt had it checked yet, but it does however backfire after gear changes which to be honest i love, but just thaught id ask if that was a bad thing or if its nowt to worry about.

Cheers

Cant half hear it now ive stripped out the back!

Have you got an aftermarket dump valve? Might be something to do with it if you have.

If its a vent to atmosphere one it will make it run a little rich when changing gear.

I got the pops and bangs mapped in on the overun and love it although I dread to think how much fuel I waste! I like trying to get some nice bangs when going under bridges, got a proper gunshot one this morning on way home from work, must make other motorists shart themselves

Childish I know but being grown up is overated
