Does wrapping headers/up pipe, and a turbo blanket make proven performance increases?

Just I am having my car remapped on the 10th Aug, and my wrap on the headers are pretty poor now. I'd like to re-do them, but not sure I will have the time before the 10th.

Does it make proven differences?

Standard pipes arent wrapped. They work just fine.

 

If you have aftermarket headers... Yes of course there is benefit to wrapping them
If you have after market up pipe .... " " " " " " "
If you have after market Down pipe.... " " " "

Lowering engine bay temps, faster spool up..

You really should do a search on this, and mainly Harvey is the man who can educate you on it and supply the best wrap going
