Default Turbo to match spec?

Hi all, i spent 3hrs sunday afternoon trawling through snet trying to fig out what turbo would suit my spec but still carnt decide!!!

Current spec:-
2001 JDM bug sti
Full 3" de-cat system
Japspeed FMIC (K&N induction)
Ecutek re-map (Tracktive solutions)
V-power
VF30 turbo
Currently around the 350bhp

650cc injectors (not fitted yet)

Not looking for big power nor spending big money around the 400hp mark so narrowed it down to td05-20g or sc40?? would these be a good choice??

any input appreciated thanks Jamie

SC40 Billet, without a doubt.

Or what about the SC42 Billet with the 7cm^2 exhaust entry?

with yours having avcs heads,i would think 380-400.
do the headers aswell and you would have a fast spooling 400bhp car. or very close to it,..ever considered using meth?
if you use a meth mix you would be over 400bhp.

lol I already queried that in another thread.

Apparently he's got another 20g but with a billet comp. wheel - is that correct 99gw?

I bet you're well happy?!

As you were 'worried' you wouldn't get your 400bhp, IIRC? Hence making sure you got 'all the right kit' beforehand.

Your diligence has evidently paid off.

Did JGM map it?

Are you lovin' the pace? Does she subjectively feel much faster than your previous 334bhp (or whatever it was)?

To the op With this ^^^^^^

And go gt30 garret turbo, you'll break the 400 with ease and your engine will handle it no probs with it being a jdm

"...but not on my car, this was on a 2.1 stroker.(previous owner)."

Ahhhh, all is now clear.

I made an assumption that you were getting it new from AF... hence my confusion at that statement.

As already recomended by JOZ above, the SC40 billet for sure, the SC42 is too much turbo and too much money for what you need, stick with the 40 mate its a mental blower.
