Default A/C Compressor spinning backwards !

This is on the Legacy GTB I bought yesterday, Video here:
Click>

When I turn the engine off, the compressor continues to turn backwards a couple of turns.
I thought the belt was loose, but tightening it made no difference.
It runs Ok for a few seconds when it's switched on and produces cold air, then it starts this nonsense and the cold air stops.
Pressure lock?

Any Ideas?

With out putting it on gauges and Watching that id say it's low on gas. As the compresser is cycling very quick Are there bubble in the sight glass ?

Not much to see in there, can't say one way or another.
It did start to cool the air and stay engaged for a few seconds before it started cycling.
I'd be happy if that's all it is.
Unfortunatly it's off the road at the moment, so I can't take it anywhere.

My other Legacy just failed to operate the compressor at all, but I had lost all gas due to a leak with that one.

Thanks for the input

Bridge the 2 wires on the pressure switch to see if it will run for longer with out cutting out if it does it's low on gas
