Default dump valve or BOV problems...?

got myself a 2003 wrx thats been remapped with a couple mods, but no dump valve. if i was to fit a dump valve, could this cause any running problems? will it make it run like a bag of s**t? or will it be ok? just unsure with it being remapped without one fitted...? cheers for any help

all you have to do is take the recirculating pipe of the origional dv and put a bung in it then block off the little vacum pipe on the origional dv and this will turn it into a bov simple! thats how my friend had his 2002 sti and it ran perfect
