blitz dump valve help

Default blitz dump valve help

hi there i have a 2004 wrx and tried fitting a blitz dump valve but it wouldnt fit. the fuel rails and manifold is in the way. has any 1 else had this problem and no how to get over it.

actually i dont think there fuel rails its the black pipoes that run across the intercooler that get in the way

Yeah I've been there. The only way I got around it was to un-bolt/loosen the intercooler pipes which are held on with 3 screws if I remember right? Then bolt the dump valve on, connect the vac hose and finally screw the intercooler pipes back on to the IC. It's a tight fit but did work for me, yours may be different.

Nope your doing all the right things, if it's an older design then they don't often fit as easy as the newer designs. Like I said mine was an older one but made it fit with a bit of adjustment.
