Hello all

This is my first post and I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been asked by a mate to found out a bit of information on his Subaru engine. The car is a 2005 Subaru Impreza R Sport Wagon. I think it has an EJ204 engine. The big end bearings have gone and what I'm trying to find out is are all the EJ20 engine block internals the same? He knows someone selling an EJ201 engine and wants to use the heads and other parts of his engine on the EJ201 block.

Any information/advice is appreciated.

rush ! respect. not sure about your bottom ends though as i have the classic. he might want to look at a nitride crank though, solid.
