ive just bought a wrx bugeye on a 52 plate with 96000miles what im wondering is it worth changing the oil pump for a brand new modified one, ive started to get a few parts for it which is fully decated exhaust system, and all the oils and coolant along with a new thermostat and waterpump and cambelt, anything else worth renewing cheers.

 

It's worth doing the pulleys aswell with the cambelt change, have a look on camskill or importcarparts as they do full pulley and roller sets.

the bearings go a bit crap in them after a while
