Opinions on the Japspeed FMIC
Further to my previous thread re- intercoolers, I'd like to ask peoples opinions of the FMIC available from Japspeed.
They seem to have re-opened the group buy on this product and whilst it looks ok, it would be good to get the nod, or otherwise, from anyone with experience?
I intend to couple this with something like a SC42 Billet Currently MD321H and all supporting mods.)
Thanks JohnD

I struggled to find any feedback on these before I fitted mine last week, however after speaking to Simon JGM who has mapped a few cars with them, Simon said he had no issues with the cars and they do the job just fine, was enough to convince me to buy one!

I've got one on the blob.
Same quality as the Autobahn88 kit - no complaints apart from the routing of the pipework means you have to run a non-standard expansion bottle for the rad (it's included, so no biggie). The pipework on e.g. the autobahn kit was better from that respect IMO, but really it makes no difference to power etc I think.

I've been running one for a couple of years now and no issues whatsoever. Pipes could fit better but if you want perfect pay 5-times the price and buy APS, Perrin or Hyperflow

You would, or just blank it off
I'm using this one when I fit the VF but running without on the TD04

You'll also need an induction kit as the OE airbox doesn't fit

Yes, currently using a Hyperflow CAI so this will need to be replaced or cut to bring the filter into the engine bay.
