Default 650 denso injectors

Hi all

Bought these a while back come with a report of flow matching etc. A friend looked at them today and noticed that the bottom are solid with no spray holes.

Anyone got any answers on this or views as i'm not to technically minded

Cheers

Do they have a protective cover over them? Photos would help massively.

The pepperpot cover at the bottom is a braised on mesh which is what meters the flow to the original rate (400cc etc), and by removing this and modifying the nossle you get a conical spray pattern, which gives a fine mist spray and equally good performance.
You'll find that every modified topfeed injector will come without this factory mesh.

Hope this eases your mind about modified injectors. You can buy these in the form of 650, 750, 850cc etc from Mark at Lateral and other leading Subaru outlets.
