Default boost gauge wireing

Hi all ,this gauge was fitted to my car when i got it but i had to take it out to fit new air vent ,anyway it wasnt fit very well and the wires just fell out when i pulled it forward so i have bought a pod and would like to refit it correctly lol,the problem is i dont knoe which wires are for were,it has a button on the front which changes the back light to differant colours ,please can anyone help cheers

Hi, the red will be live + 12v. black = earth. I would say yellow will be the lighting circuit from the dash lights, and blue will go to the sender for the boost signal
Or the blue will be the lighting circuit and yellow boost signal not too sure on those 2 but should be easy to fig out once the others are connected, have a look for the wires it was orig connected to they should be there behind the vent somewhere ? Unless it wasn't connected up in the first place ?

Does it have a separate sender or did the vacuum pipe connect directly into the gauge? I would say red = permanent live, black = earth, yellow= switched ignition and blue = illumination. Only an educated guess though.
