Default exhaust question

hi people i have a my95 wrx jdm turbo the car is fitted with a hks power exhaust system and stainless headers,however it does not have the grumble that a subaru should have,i have been told its because of the headers that are fitted to the car.is it possible to get the grumble back with out going back to the standard headers,i.e can you get stainless headers like that currently fitted but have the flat 4 grumble any advise would be much appriciated kind regards ben

Im guessin your car has equal length headers fitted. Only thing you can do is replace them with a set of unequal lenght headers to get the grumble back

ok so a set of unequal length stainless headers will give me my grumble back,will it just need to be switched over or would it need to be mapped again also will i lose any power switching between equal lenght stainless headers and unequal lenght stainless headers

What turbo are you running because that will determine what you need by way of headers and uppipe.
