induction kit , good/bad ?
hi im modding my bugeye wrx and ive decided to go down the o/s myself route
first job is do some logging and see what im starting with (scale maf ect)
its got a crappy fleabay induction kit on which i was gonna remove but decided to mod it so the afm sits in a straight flow of air rather than trying to read bouncing air thats trying to travel through the s shape it originally was
this is a snapshot of one of a few logs
now i know this is only a look into where the ecu is adding/takingfuel and the same with timing , its pulling a little (not too worried about that at the moment its not drastic ill look into that later (running v power might help a little ) i.ll look into the map on that when the turbo and bits go on
its the af learning thats suprised me its not too bad with a supposedly cheapo feabay CAI
the 10/50 is out a little more but just over 1% dont seem much to worry about
any thoughts or advice chaps
cheers tony

You need to take some full logs... all learning view is showing is that the ECU is pulling a tiny bit of timing in a few load cells but that in general, things are OK to start mapping.
I have a few base maps you can have if you want... all for stock intakes but with a decat centre pipe and performance back box. PM me with your email addy and I dig them out for you.
Also, I'd advise getting a 1mm boost pill - I was getting a bit of waste gate creep with the stock pill at the target boost / WDCs I had dialled in... All gone with the 1mm pill!

Hi thanks , I'm going to do some more comprehensive logs later, I am starting with my maf because of my after market induction kit , do you think the Af corrections the ecu is making look acceptable (in closed loop) to carry on or would you be looking to scale the maf or are the Af figures pretty close to what you would expect
Can you get them to zero or is that nearly impossible
Cheers tony
