Default type r gear stick bush?

my ver 3 type r gear stick when in gear has quite a bit of movement left to right what bush is it i need to change ? cheers rob

It depends on the type of joint you have.
There are at least 2 types fitted to Legacy's, pre and post 1996.
I don't know about impreza's.
Try and find the part numbers.

This part here mate, had the same thing on mine. its the uv joint, quite easy to change, mine was terrible when i bought my car, the bushings had fallen out
