Driving with CEL on...

Hi
Got an '02WRX done 4K miles with ITG filter and TSL BB (plus other non engine related mods)
My Check Engine Light came on before the weekend but the car is still running fine. The thing is, I have to pick up some friends from Manchester Airport at 5am Tuesday morning and was wondering if the car will be ok.
Probably just some sensor thats faulty or something but wanted your opinions as I don't want to break down en-route.
So tell me..is it gonna be ok to drive 'till I can get it checked out? And any ideas as to the cause of the fault? Ive done about 12 restarts since the light first came on and its still the same.
One more thing, is it worth refitting my oem back box before taking it to the dealers or is it ok to leave on my TSL bb?

edited to say it runs just like before with no noticable loss of performance...its still a flying machine!
...and I'm running it on Optimax

Had the same problem i have my01 uk300 with the only mod being hks ti tip zorst there was no problem for the first 1200 mile then cel light came on so took hks off put standard zorst back on(waranty)and the light went OUT took it to the dealers he said the senser in the center section of the zorst was reading to much oxygen.
So may be leak somewhere in your zorst???
I have not put the hks back on yet so i cant comment any further?
